The hotel was first class , really perfect and the weather was great apart from the first two days !! Hi Stuart, We just wanted to thank you so much for everything you did to arrange the most amazing wedding ever!! We had just the most fantastic time, not just the wedding but the whole time at Belle Mare Plage. It sounds so cliche but everything was perfect. All of our guests loved it and there were plenty of comments i heard about what a great job you had done and what a great deal we got. Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius

I just wanted to email to say a big thank you to Chaka Travel. Guy & I got back from our honeymoon at The Heritage in Mauritius on Saturday and we had a fantastic time. Everything was just perfect and we want to thank Chaka Travel for doing such a superb job organising our honeymoon. It really was flawless. We were met at the airport and transferred to our hotel very smoothly. The Heritage is a wonderful resort - the staff were incredibly friendly and we felt completely spoilt & relaxed. We had the most fabulous time and really enjoyed the Heritage. It was a brilliant recommendation and the resort was better than we could have imagined! Everything was just amazing, from the staff, to the beautiful resort, pools, beach, the food was incredible and the whole island just beautiful. A perfect honeymoon destination. Mauritours were there to look after any needs we had and we all arrangements were in place to transfer us back to the airport. We have absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend The Heritage and Chaka Travel. Once again, thank you so much to Chaka Travel for making our honeymoon a dream come true.

A & G H, honeymoon at Heritage Resort, Mauritius

Hi Mark, Christine and I would like to say thanks for arranging our holiday and honeymoon. Everything we asked of you and the Heritage was delivered...and more! There are two ladies in my office who are planning to get married next year in Mauritius and I’ve already recommended both the Heritage and Chaka Travel to them! I am trying to be brief but I have so many good things to say about the Heritage. The resort itself is fantastic, we loved the spa, all the architecture is amazing and the water theme throughout is perfect. The restaurant manager was amazing in preparing our wedding meal. He cooked us a 6 course dinner which wasn’t on the menu (There were 8 in our wedding party and he cooked a different menu for each of us and hand wrote the dishes onto a tropical leaf for each guest which we now have framed in our kitchen!). I have never experienced service like it either. Even in the buffet restaurant we couldn’t even carry our plates back to the table, the waiters insisted on doing this as were on holiday!! All the staff seemed to know us by name too, the attention to detail was superb! The wedding co-ordinators were exceptional, we couldn’t have asked for better service and we complimented both of them to Wendy, their manager. They did EVERYTHING for us! Mark, I loved the course! I played a round with Jerry, one of the proos which was nice. We weren’t keeping a score card but I think I actually beat him off scratch! (I play off 7) And finally I wanted to mention a trip to Tamarin Bay where we were accompanied by a pod of dolphins! This was a superb experience filming the dolphins from close range! We moved onto a spot where we were supplied with masks and snorkels and we swam by the reef seeing the tropical fish. Finally they took us to a tiny remote island near Le Morne (only coconut trees on it) where they cooked us a superb bbq on the beach and we had wine, beer and soft drinks. As it was our wedding they gave Christine a beautiful bouquet of flowers! Thanks again

Wedding at the Heritage

Zim (aka Mark), Thank you for arranging what was a wonderful honeymoon! Le Telfair was beautiful. We had a lovely room overlooking the beach, and the food, activities, relaxation - everything was great. I know everyone always says this about their honeymoon but it really was the best holiday of our lives. We enjoyed Atlantis in Dubai too - quite a contrast to Telfair! We had a lot of fun. They upgraded us to a rather senior suite upon check-in - which was probably bigger than our apartment in Zurich! - a message seemed to flash up on the receptionist’s screen, perhaps we’ve got you to thank for that?! All in all a memorable start to our life together. Enjoy the summer and thanks again,
