We were delighted to get the following letter and pictures from Nigel and Linda, golfing enthusiasts who got married on the 17th tee, the signature hole at the Belle Mare Plage Resort in Mauritius in September 2008. They kindly agreed to us using their photos and comments to show how they personalised their dream golf wedding.
Good afternoon Sophie,
Well, we are now married!!. We had a wonderful wedding at the Belle Mare Plage in September and the staff at Belle Mare really went out of their way to give us something really special and memorable throughout our stay. Sandrine in guest relations and Ramsurrun from the Legend Course were our witnesses and really went to town on decorating the wedding Cart and the 17th Tee. The guard of honour by the caddies and caddy masters as we walked onto the tee was unexpected and I believe it to be a "one off" , probably as we have been to the hotel so many times before.
Mauritours did an excellent job in sorting out the documentation and transporting us to Port Louis for the registration etc--please thank them for us.
Again, thank you to you and your team for arranging our dream wedding -- it was so perfect.
Will hopefully be speaking to you soon about next years holiday ----- guess where??.
